Program #2 – The Juliet Letters

A magical and romantic evening of cabaret music:
Conceived and composed by pop legend Elvis Costello, “Juliet Letters” imagines mail addressed to the most famous female resident of Verona, Italy. This poignant work, performed by Broadway's Manu Narayan and the Valkyrian String Quartet, is alternately joyful and tragic – just as the Bard would have liked.  Come early and take advantage of our unique Valentine’s dinner and concert package!

New Jersey City University – Monday, 2/12, 7:30pm
Two River Theater – Wednesday, 2/14, 8pm
Montclair Art Museum – Friday, 2/16, 8pm

Program #3 – Pictures 2007

New Jersey students explore the intersection of music and visual art:
Building upon last season’s success, NJ students were asked to compose music inspired by visual art  exhibited in the Montclair Art Museum.  Clarinetist Andrew Lamy and violist Brett Deubner, both long-time members of the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, will perform duets written by the students.  In addition, Lamy and Deubner will premiere the 2007 Ionisation Commission, a new work by New Jersey's own Frank Ezra Levy.

Montclair Art Museum – Saturday, 4/14, 8pm
Rutgers University – Sunday, 4/15, 1pm (SPECIAL MASTER CLASS PRESENTATION)
