PICTURES 2008 -
New Jersey students explore the intersection of music and visual art

Becoming one of New Jersey's premiere Composition Contests,
NJ students are asked to compose music inspired by visual art exhibited in the Montclair Art Museum.
Guest artist, The Halcyon Trio (clarinetist, Andrew Lamy, violist, Brett Deubner and pianist, Gary Kirkpatrick)
will perform duets written by the students.  In addition, the Halycon Trio will premiere the
2008 Ionisation Commission, Innesscapes, a new work by New Jersey's own Christian Carey.
