New Jersey students explore the intersection of
music and visual art

For the fourth annual edition of one of New Jersey's premiere Composition Contests, NJ students were asked to compose music inspired by visual art exhibited in the Montclair Art Museum -
Elsie Driggs'
Queensborough Bridge, 1927.  Guest artist,
Exit 9 Percussion Group
will perform quartets written by the students.  In addition, the Exit 9 Percussion Group will premiere the 2009 Ionisation Commission, Span by
New Jersey's own Darren Gage.
