Our organization

critically acclaimed performers and educators

The new jersey arts collective (NJAC) produces programs in the creative and performing arts that promote the work of living New Jersey artists and educate the general population about contemporary art.  Beginning in 2001, NJAC has organized concerts of modern music by New Jersey composers, performed primarily by New Jersey musicians, under the name, Ionisation New Music Ensemble.  In 2002, NJAC began incorporating theatre into its programs, and in 2006 added events that feature a visual art component.  The organization continues to build interdisciplinary bridges between different forms of art including music, theatre, dance, creative writing and visual art.
